SALES MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Organisation is looking for passionate and purpose driven sales manager will be charged with overseeing the formulation of sales policies and strategies, ensuring the performance of the sales team and is also in charge of spearheading sales interventions and ensuring ultimate client relationship maximization.

LOCATION: Nigeria

JOB TYPE: Full-time

SALES MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Achieving growth by meeting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Determines discount rates/special pricing plan
  • Supervise activities of the sales team
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans and policies that will expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presences in the business market
  • Ensure ultimate client relationship maximization
  • Managing , setting objectives , coaching, performance monitoring and conduct performance appraisals of the sales team
  • In charge of identifying the training needs of the sales team
  • Identify emerging markets and market trends and is fully aware of new products in the market and competition status.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years+ experience in sales preferably as a sales manager
  • Core knowledge of a CRM software particularly Salesforce or Insightly
  • Bsc in a related field, Master’s degree would be an added advantage
  • Certification in ICAN, ACCA, PMP, CPSP will be an added advantage
  • Proven ability to effectively drive a sales process
  • Strong business sense and Industry expertise
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectiveness at all levels in the organisation
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people Management skills
